Chart notes
CASTILLE unhurried in the beginning, came around the first turn on the outside, moved up on the outside around the final turn, dueled down the stretch with MR. BUTCH WOMBLE and drove clear before the wire. MR. BUTCH WOMBLE went to the front, drove clear, saved ground around the final turn, dueled down the home stretch with CASTILLE, couldn't match strides with the winner, but proved best of others. NORTHWIND showed early speed, eased back, made a late bid and proved third best. COOL RIDE pressed the early pace, saved ground around the second turn, faded and finished evenly. J'S LITTLE MAN raced in the middle of the field, eased back, made a mild bid after turning for home, but was no factor. G E H GIANTS WAY lacked early speed and was never a threat. COASTAL DEFENSE raced evenly within striking distance, faded and was no threat late. G'S STORM always raced near the back and showed little. FAMILY CREED void of early speed and was outrun.
