Chart notes
SAINT PETER'S BAY set the pace inside of sternly pressing outer rival, led narrowly through quick fractions into and around the turn, drew off entering the lane and was geared down in the final fifty yards. GREAT RUNNER trailed early on lagged well behind in the two path around the turn, moved out to the six path in upper stretch and rallied to edge place in the final sixteenth. FLYING HOUDINI pursued from the three path, advanced inside of a rival entering the lane, claimed place from an inner rival at the sixteenth pole but got outkicked shortly after. BEAUTIFUL LIFE saved ground while chasing in midpack and failed to threaten. TRIPLE TREA prompted outside of the leader forcing a past pace into and around the turn, but proved no match for that one entering the lane and weakened. CUPID'S WAR tracked in the four path, chased into the lane and tired.
