Chart notes
ROYALLY BLUE rated in the three path, was coaxed passing the quarter, angled out to the six path turning into the lane, and rallied past inner foes to draw clear in the final strides. FORTUNA BELLE set the pace in the two path, was nudged along around the turn, tipped out to the three path turning into the stretch, inched clear passing the eighth pole, but was caught late by an outer foe. JOKES UP raced wellback in the two path, was coaxed along in the three path around the turn, angled out to the seven path in upper stretch, and rallied for show. FULMINATE tracked inside, was roused midway around the turn, but was one paced in the stretch. ON THE PAYROLL hopped at the start, chased in the three path, ranged up under coaxing in the four path passing the quarter, swung from the five path into the lane, but flattened. AMERICAN OF COURSE laid up close in the four path, was cued in the three path midway around the turn, but faded in the stretch. KIKITSA raced off the pace in the four path but never menaced.
