OVERLY CRITICAL raced well back around the first turn, accelerated through traffic splitting rivals twice before entering the second bend, now three deep and full of run closed in on the leader nearing the sixteenth pole, under a perfectly timed drive dove clear at the wire. QUALIFLY raced three wide and off the dueling leaders around the first run, four wide and driving when the pace collapsed, took a clear advantage into the lane, now along the inside through the final sixteenth, fought on gamely to the wire. PAPI ON ICE raced well off the early pace, shifted out four wide to avoid the fading pace setters, still outside late, gained the show under the wire. AUBURN MILL raced off the first turn duel, bid three wide leaving the quarter pole, racing on the wrong lead through the stretch, nipped for the show at the wire. BATTLE OF BASTOGNE raced well back around the first turn, quickened to bid four wide leaving the quarter pole, flattened out through the stretch. SMOOTH RICO broke clean inside, sprinted around the first turn and dueled into the backside, set a wicked pace into the far turn, weakened through the lane. TAPIO raced off the pace and inside to the far turn, lost contact with the leaders leaving the quarter pole, gave way. KHAKI JACK very rank in the gate tossed the jock off twice, stumbled when the gate opened, rushed up to duel around the first turn, set a frantic pace into the far turn, gave way through the stretch. HENDRIX very slow away from the gate, saved ground around the far turn, never threatened. READYSEEKGO raced off the pace and mid pack around the first turn, still off the pace six wide into the lane, gave way to the wire.
