Chart notes
JERSEY JOE raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the four path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground late to pull clear. REINING PESOS stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, angled in to save ground around the bend and chased on to the wire. BURNZ DA BOSS veered in at the start, settled in the middle of the pack on the rail through the opening quarter, saved ground around the turn and improved position in the lane. MT. TAYLOR bumped repeatedly with the horse to his outside leaving the gate and eventually took up to trail the field up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the four path, began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground late from there. DISCREET TIGER led the way on the inside early, dueled from the three path around the turn and into the stretch and weakened in the final furlong. FACETIOUS pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and faded in the lane. INDIAN NIGHTS tracked the pace setters on the inside through the opening stages, continued around the turn in the two path and tired in the stretch. AWESOME BID brushed with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, raced off the pace on the rail up the backstretch, came around the bend in the two path and showed no kick. WILD FIREMAKER veered in and bumped with the horse to his inside at the break, raced in the middle of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the three path and showed no bid. THIRSTY ECHO brushed with the horse to his outside leaving the gate, raced in the middle of the pack between horses early, saved ground around the turn and was empty in the lane.
