Chart notes
OTTER CREEK shut off at the start, racing in the back, moved up on the inside around the turn, got through on the rail and drove clear late. TRESILLIAN raced evenly near the middle of the field, made an outside bid, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. ANACREON was hard to load, broke out, pressed the pace, came around the turn on the outside and was caught late for second. FIRST SAMARITAN shot to the front, drove clear and weakened. PERSONAL JET broke in, void of early speed, showed late interest, but was no factor. SEVEN DEVILS ROAD raced evenly near the back and was never close. AFTER THE GAME raced within striking distance and retreated. PALMETTO STAR broke in, raced near the back and was never a threat.
