Chart notes
ADMIRAL DENNIS pursued from midpack four wide, crept closer to within striking range with five furlongs to go, bid and vied three to two wide turning for home, drove clear in midstretch, flopped back to his left lead shortly after and lasted from a late challenger. VAMOS CARLITOS was off a half beat slow and last away, laid off of the pace along the inside, tugged around the first turn, was held up behind rivals throughout the far turn, shifted out to the four to five path in upper stretch, rallied to offer a late bid outside of the leader but ran out of ground. AUTHENTIC GALLOP showed the way along the inside, then inside of a trio with five furlongs to go, clung to an advantage as only a single bidder remained turning for home, but was bested by that one at the furlong ground and held show. CONSECRATED stalked along the inside while tugging in the bit around the first turn, but only managed to chase and lacked a bid. SOUTH BEND TOM tracked three wide, then between horses with five furlongs to go, prompted around the far turn but faded turning for home. SIGHT prompted outside of the leader but faded between horses at the three furlong pole. DEREK'S LAW was briefly fractious in the gate, lacked speed in the three path and made little impact.
