UNCHARTED saved ground off the early three pronged pace scrum, edged up under asking into the far turn, checked sharply off the heels of a tiring rival nearing the five sixteenths, regrouped to work between horses near the quarter pole, angled out five wide into the stretch, closed determinedly under right handed asks, joined inner foes a sixteenth out, forged to command with about seventy yards remaining and drew clear. RHODESIA settled off the embattled leaders while off the inside, took closer order three wide under a ride departing the far turn, closed in steadily and challenged between runners a sixteenth from the wire, continued on willingly and was second best. SANGER vied three deep into and around the first turn, rated back off a keen leader soon into the backstretch but stayed close outside, rebid three deep and took over leaving the far turn, shook clear and shifted in a path or two past the five sixteenths, remained clear under a drive in mid stretch, failed to contain outer threats leaving the sixteenth pole and faded. LIMITED HEATWAVE , bumped at the break, settled off the pace and off the inside, was taken up sharply off heels near the quarter pole, swung out after regrouping and finished with good effort through the final seventy yards. BERT'S PROSPECT , bumped and in close at the break, raced off the contested pace three to four wide, was pushed along leaving the far turn, raced in range to mid stretch then came up empty. MAXIMUM CAPACITY disputed the pace inside a pair of foes into and around the first turn, eased back a bit to track near the five eighths, came back along the rail to threaten leaving the far turn, failed to keep pace in upper stretch and weakened. KNIGHTLINE , bumped at the break, vied between foes then briefly cleared soon into the backstretch, was re engaged from both sides into the far turn, ceded command leaving the three eighths, stopped abruptly impeding rivals then was eased through the lane.
