Chart notes
JOE DON LOONEY saved ground around the turn disputing the pace, asserted himself in the drive and drew away under steady handling. STOP AND A TRES bumped with LOBDELL LAKE leaving the starting gate, trailed early, swung to the six path in upper stretch and rallied. LANSDOWNE (GB) , well placed in the two path between horses leaving the turn, failed to sustain his move. PIRATE RED , four wide on the turn, weakened. CHUCKANUT BAY dueled outside the winner and tired in the drive. SAN ANDRES , five deep on the turn, was not a factor. INCH , checked lacking room along the inner rail leaving the turn, could not recover. TOM BOMBADIL hugged the inner rail chasing the pace and faltered leaving the turn. LOBDELL LAKE bumped with STOP AND A TRES at the start, was no factor and stayed along the inner rail on the turn.
