Chart notes
SMILE MON was hustled to the front then showed the way with a clear advantage, dictated terms in the two path for most of the turn then dropped closer to the rail, was asked for his best in upper upper stretch, extended the advantage into the final furlong and held under strong urging. HOULTON settled off the pace, was asked while inside to the two path on the turn, dropped back to the rail at the quarter-pole, moved out approaching the furlong marker and finished willingly for the place. SCAT TU TAP was hustled from the gate then settled at the rear, dropped from the two path to the rail while waiting to be asked on the turn, was roused near the quarter-pole and finished with good energy but was too late while up for the show. TIMAEUS bumped with a rival at the start, was urged along on the inside of rivals, angled in inside the three-quarter pole, chased inside on the turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole and came up empty. J J'S JOKER settled off the pace, was roused in the three then four path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the five path and also came up empty. MO REWARDS was reluctant to load, established a forward position on the outside, was urged along late on the backstretch, chased in the three path on the turn and tired. BLAME IT ON DADDY bumped with a rival at the start, raced up close between horses for the opening quarter-mile pole then inside of a rival, was urged along late on the backstretch, chased in the two then three path on the turn and capitulated.
