Chart notes
HANDSOME HAROLD set a clear pace, then held sway through whlie hanging on his left lead through the lane. CATALINA DAY mildly pressed the eventual winner from the three path around the turn, chased that one while drifting to the four path into the lane, then kept on while hanging on his left lead and held place from an inner pursuer. NERVY pursued from midpack in the two path, advanced to gain show from an outer rival entering the lane, ran on but was kept at bay for place. BYATHREAD broke a step slow, saved ground near the rear and moved up in upper stretch. STAR READY lacked speed in the three path and failed to factor. GATSBY'S FORTUNE pursued from the three path to four path and made little impact. MALADJUSTED MISFIT chased forwardly in the four path, but faded while drifting to the five path entering the lane. SHAWN'S SOLVING broke a beat slow, tracked in the five to six path and weakened.
