Chart notes
BOITANO brushed with an inner rival at the start, showed the way while tucking to the inside around the first turn, shifted outwardly while meeting an outer challenge in midstretch, repelled that foe shortly after and drove clear. NOTION brushed with an outer foe leaving the gate, laid close up along the inside before getting wrangled back under strong restraint around the first turn, settled into stalking stride down the backstretch, pursued from the pocket around the far turn, tipped to take aim outside of the leader in upper stretch, inched closer to offer a bid at the furlong grounds, but was turned away shortly after and was second best. MY BARILEY brushed with an inner foe at the start, tracked in the four path, chased under urging around the far turn, moved out to the five path in upper stretch, edged show and failed to threaten the top pair while hanging on his left lead. SUPER WISE trailed the short field in the two path, steadied slightly behind rivals nearing the backstretch, then failed to factor. Z Z'S PRINCE traded light contact with an outer foe at the off, prompted outside of the eventual winner and from the three path, failed to sustain pressure while under urging turning for home, then drifted to the four path into the lane and faded.
