PUBLIC DEFENDER tracked the pace four wide around the first turn, bid between foes in the three path around the far turn, took the lead nearing the quarter pole, battled on through the stretch and just lasted. ESCAPE ROOM raced off the pace two and three wide, angled further out in upper stretch, closed outside and just missed. FANTASY PERFORMER stumbled at the start, raced off the early pace four wide, bid three wide around the far turn, reached even terms outside of the winner near the quarter pole and was outfinished in the lane. BOSTON ROSE (IRE) saved ground off the pace, steadied near the five-eighths marker, advanced at the rail around the far turn, tipped two wide in upper stretch, split foes near the eighth pole and flattened out late. RACHELS SONG raced in range two and three wide and was one-paced through the lane. LA SCALONETA saved ground in range early, went three wide around the far turn, swung widest in upper stretch and lacked the needed rally. TINKI ABARRIO pressed the pace in the three path around the first turn, drew clear down the backstretch, angled in to set the pace along the rail around the far turn, vied to midstretch and weakened. DOMER ALLURE failed to menace while racing three and four wide. KAKE'S TAP DANCER set the pace in the two path around the first turn, chased two wide down the backstretch, checked near the three-eighths marker and retreated.
