Chart notes
TUCSON saved ground in range, angled four wide near the quarter pole, lugged in and bumped CIAO CHUCK near the eighth pole and edged ahead of that foe under a drive. CIAO CHUCK was bumped entering the first turn, stalked the pace four wide around the first turn, bid three deep rounding the far turn, took over nearing the quarter pole, drew clear in upper stretch, was bumped by the winner in midstretch and held well clear of the rest. SARDIS raced in range three and four wide, lacked the needed rally but bested the rest. BEACH GOLD pressed the pace two wide, briefly led around the far turn and weakened in the drive. COGNOSCENTI had his head turned at the start and was off very slowly, raced well back three and four wide and passed tiring rivals. ITS BOURBON THIRTY set a pressured pace along the rail and faltered in the stretch. NOT A DIME BACK was pinched back at the start, trailed inside early, swung wide in upper stretch and never threatened. MUSTA'ED was outrun inside. SIR MAGESTRATE (IRE) was bumped entering the first turn, raced two and three wide and made little impact. REDEMPTION SPEIGHT was bumped entering the first turn, raced two wide and played no factor. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE INCIDENT IN THE STRETCH AND TOOK NO ACTION.
