Chart notes
SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS bumped with an inner foe at the start, raced in midpack in the two path, waited around the far turn, swung out to the eight path turning into the stretch, and rallied to get up in the final strides. INTEGRATION bumped with an inner foe at the start, prompted the pace in the three path, bid passing the quarter, edged away from foes on both sides after the eighth pole, but drifted out in the final sixteenth, and was caught in the final strides. CHASING THE CROWN trailed inside, was stymied along the rail rounding the far turn, floated out to the five path at the top of the lane, and rallied between foes to get up for show. MI HERMANO RAMON laid up close in the two path, but got stymied between foes midway around the far turn, kept on from the three path turning into the stretch, but was out-finished. FORT WASHINGTON raced wellback in the four path, fanned out to the eight path under a drive turning into the stretch, and improved. MAJOR DUDE stalked in the three path, was coaxed along around the far turn, angled out to the six path turning into the stretch, stayed on, but had to steady in the final sixteenth. WIN FOR THE MONEY bumped with an outer foe at the start, pressed the pace in the two path, bid passing the quarter, but flattened from the three path down the lane. GRAND SONATA rated in the two path, was roused passing the quarter, angled out to the seven path at the top of the lane, but did not factor. NATIONS PRIDE (IRE) bumped with an outer foe at the start, tracked inside, was roused midway around the far turn, but faded in the final furlong. BALNIKHOV (IRE) chased along the inside, had to steady along the rail midway around the far turn, then again at the top of the stretch, and weakened. BATTLE OF NORMANDY raced off the pace in the three path, but had to check while being carried out to the seven path at the top of the lane, and failed to menace. FORMIDABLE MAN set the pace inside but gaveway in the stretch.
