Chart notes
PRINCESS LUCIA sped clear early then dropped in and was nicely handled setting the pace off the inside, handled outer pressure while nursed along past the three eighths, responded when roused soon into the lane, kicked away under a drive leaving mid stretch then continued to steadily widen while kept alert to the second wire. A LOTTA MOXIE , bumped at the break, angled outside the winner early on and stalked three wide, moved up from the outside to apply pressure leaving the far turn, forced the issue past the five sixteenths and into the lane, could not quite match strides heading to mid stretch but held on nicely to be well clear for the place. FIRE AT MIDNIGHT was squeezed back from between runners in the opening sixteenth, regrouped and saved ground through the backstretch run, angled out, chased four wide into the stretch and churned on. JUST THE THING settled in the clear and about four wide, took closer order into the far turn, pursued the leaders into the stretch, failed to punch on in mid stretch and weakened. QUIT QUAY , well placed stalked the pace while saving ground, edged up nearing the half, failed to go on under a ride leaving the five sixteenths and weakened. TITIAN TYRANT , brushed at the start, was taken to rate two wide into the backstretch, moved up between foes to be just off the leaders into the far turn, came under a ride soon after, lacked a response and gave way. STYLE AND PROFILE , bumped and off a bit slow, lagged off the pace and off the inside, circled six to seven wide into the stretch then gave way.
