FOOL FOR THE CITY away alertly, set the pace into the second turn, was headed by the runner up, fought back gamely along the inside under left handed urging, made the lead late and edged clear in the final strides under strong handling. SUPPLY CHAIN stalked the early pace four wide, surged two wide on the far turn to gain a narrow advantage, battled with the winner until deep stretch and finished second best. MR CLINE allowed to settle, loomed boldly three wide on the far turn then was outfinished. MILANO went evenly. THE COACHMAN pressed the early pace two wide and weakened on the second bend. R CARDINAL PRINCE was no factor. OPEN OUT stalked the pace three wide and was through after a half. BASTIEN LE BROWN dwelt at the start and was never close. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION. PER RULING #ECM2025-93 FROM HIWU, FOOL FOR THE CITY WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST TO UNPLACED DUE TO A MEDICATION VIOLATION.
