Chart notes
LOADED ONCE MORE never far back, swung widest of all entering the stretch, rallied determinedly five wide under left handed urging and got up in the final strides. KINGDOM QUEEN battled for the early lead along the inside, dropped back a bit on the turn, came on again along the rail to gain the lead before the furlong marker, drifted out to the four path late under left handed urging and just missed hanging on. LADY WELLINGTON contested the lead three wide into the stretch, drifted out from the four to the six path under left handed urging at the sixteenth pole then was outfinished. FLOWER MOUND dueled for the lead two wide into the stretch, was shut off by the runner up approximately forty yards from the wire causing her rider to check and lost momentum. HARTFUL HOPE had good early speed, loomed boldly four wide through the turn, was shut off at the sixteenth pole by the drifting LADY WELLINGTON causing her rider to check hard then dropped back. SPARKLING JEWEL failed to menace. LOFTY COWTOWN was no threat. SHEISTHEHERO was no factor. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND THE RIDER OF HARFUL HOPE LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF LADY WELLINGTON FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH. ALSO, THE TRAINER OF FLOWER MOUND LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF KINGDOM QUEEN FOR INTERFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED KINDOM QUEEN AND PLACED HER THIRD. THE STEWARDS ALSO DIQUALIFIED LADY WELLINGTON AND PLACED HER FIFTH.
