BISHOPS BAY pressed up front in the two path, took over while being challenged on the outside turning for home, drove well clear the final furlong under steady handling. WOODCOURT lacked early foot while four wide through the first turn, continued outside, ranged up four wide to challenge late in the final bend, briefly raced on equal terms with the winner then could not keep up the final furlong. UNDERHILL'S TAB settled off the pace and the inside, raced three wide through the final turn, had little for the top two the final eighth, edged clear of the others. MACKMAN in the second flight toward the inside, crept closer in some traffic late in the final turn, went evenly through the lane. MAXIMUS MAGIC chased the dueling leaders for five furlongs, advanced and challenged between the top two turning for home, backed up through the lane. AWESOME AARON broke back, was rank while attempting to rate first turn, made an early move along the inside before a half, traffic into the far turn, had little left for the stretch run. UNLOAD dueled inside the winner for six furlongs, first to blink second turn. ZATARA fell back to trail while outside, four wide through the first turn, four to five wide second, failed to rally. YELLOW BRICK broke back and was never involved.
