Chart notes
CATATUMBO was bumped at the break, reserved early towards the outside in the clear, made a four wide move on the far turn in tandem with NAMESAKE, dueled to the outside of that rival by the quarter pole and continued on to have a long drive in the lane to prevail late. NAMESAKE was allowed to settle three wide early, made a three wide move to duel to the inside of the winner by the quarter pole, then continued that battle through the lane but missed in a game try. KARTANO tracked the early pace three wide, made a two wide bid on the turn to vie for command towards the inside and came into the lane on the rail but was outfinished by the top two wide besting the rest. SCENIC JUSTICE was taken back and four wide into the first turn, advanced four wide on the far turn and came wide into the lane and had a mild late rally. FUNKENSTEIN was allowed to settle along the inside, two to three wide on the far turn and had no rally. FALCONS FURY set the pace while clear on the inside and dawdled along for a half mile, then was headed by the five sixteenths and weakened. HENRYTHETHIRD tracked the pace on the inside and weakened on the turn and then moved to the outside leaving the turn and tired.
