Chart notes
PRINCE JAMES pursued from midpack along the inside, sustained a rail rally while flashing his tail in protest of crop use in the final furlong, bid at the sixteenth pole and edged clear. B W P SPIRIT hopped into an the outer stall door when the gates sprung and was off slow, laid off of the pace in the four path slowly progressed while drifting to the five to six path in upper stretch, bid along with an inner rival entering the final sixteenth, but chased that one home and held place. MON AMI FUZZIE trailed in the two path, moved out to the seven to eight path in upper stretch, rallied widest in the late stages and reached show at the wire. RECKLESS RANSOM tracked in the three path, traded bumps with an inner foe whlie keeping that one hemmed in as they closed in on the clear leader in upper stretch, bid and forged an advantage at the furlong grounds, but yielded between bidders in the final sixteenth and lost show at the wire. PADDY'S HOUSE stalked along the inside, pursued from the two path along with an outer rival around the turn, exchanged bumps with that one while attempting to tip outside of the clear leader in upper stretch, failed to offer a bid while blocked and forced to steady behind the leader at the furlong grounds, got outkicked between rivals shortly after yet kept on willingly. MARK THE MOOSE saved ground well back, shifted out to the four path in upper stretch and failed to menace between horses. CHI TOWN HUSTLER sped clear early on, showed the way in the two path, but was caught by an outer bidder in midstretch and weakened between horses.
