Chart notes
SUGAR BUZZ raced off the pace in the two path, was coaxed along around the far turn, swung out to the seven path turning into the lane, and rallied outside of foes to get up at the wire. OTTER MISCHIEF laid up close in the four path, took command in the three path midway around the far turn, was cued turning into the stretch, inched clear passing the eighth pole, but drifted out in the final sixteenth, and was nailed by an outer foe at the wire. QUIZLER stalked in the four path, was ridden in the three path around the far turn, swung from the five path into the lane, and kept on. LIGHT FOREVER laid in range in the two path, was roused midway around the far turn, but finished evenly down the stretch. BOLT TO RUN settled in the back of the pack from the three path, was driven in the four path around the far turn, rallied down the lane. WINNING FORTUNE was wellback along the rail, tipped out to the four path turning into the stretch, but did not factor. FIGHTING WORDS tracked in the three path, steadied between foes going into the far turn, then retreated. RUIZ JUNIOR rated in the three path, but got stymied midway around the far turn, and did not threaten. ROYCES RIDE set the pace in the two path, but lost the lead early around the far turn, and gaveway. GUNNERY SERGEANT hesitated at the start, then trailed throughout.
