Chart notes
HOT DAY broke well, showed the way up the backstretch, extended that advantage late in the turn, extended that lead upper stretch, held the runner up safe late. CRUISE MISSILE chased the winner early, back late in the turn and into the stretch, getting back to that same rival late. FLAT STORMIN forwardly placed along the inside, steered out to be three wide into the stretch, finished up best of the rest. MIDWAY VOW in mid pack while along the inside, improved by cutting the corner into the stretch, flattened out and went evenly to the wire. AUNT ALEX off a step slow, raced back and inside, improved position without posing a serious threat. LINE RUNNER lacked early foot, fanned six wide turning for home, went flat the final furlong. KARSON KAY four to five wide through the turn, lacked a rally. GEORGIA ON E'SMIND made little impact while racing three wide. SHE'S A READER in the second flight toward the inside, angled out four wide turning for home, backed up through the stretch.
