Chart notes
KENNEDY'S CAMELOT allowed to settle, closed willingly six wide through the stretch under right handed urging and got up in the final strides. FORT GRANDE chased the early pace, rallied three wide into the stretch, gained a narrow lead then couldn't hold off the late charge of the winner. SEEKING FREEDOM wide early, closed ground rapidly outside rivals into the far turn, battled until deep stretch then was outfinished while five wide. EARL'S STORMY WIND trailed into the stretch, swung wide and closed a gap late while seven wide. STRIKE PLATE went evenly. WHY KENNY WHY failed to menace. GUESS AGAIN had good early speed along the inside and was through after a half. SO CO MANHATTAN pressed the pace two wide then along the inside for nearly six furlongs then wilted in the lane. JAC'S EMPIRE pulled his rider to the front four then three wide on the clubhouse turn, drew clear before a half, set the pace to the top of the stretch then had nothing left.
