Chart notes
DIXIE GROOVE trailed for half a mile, angled out near midstretch, surged and was up late. SUMMARY JUDGMENT vied early, took over after half a mile, widened, remained well clear to the final yards but was nailed. RUMINT well placed outside the dueling leaders and finished willingly. MISS CHAMITA lacked speed inside then passed rivals while no threat. HELEONORTIZ lagged far behind then picked off rivals without menacing. AMY MULE dropped back early inside and lacked a rally. FROSTED DIAMOND settled off the leaders, was asked for run on the final turn but had no response. CATTI LA BELLE chased in midpack and weakened steadily.
