SOUTH COAST ROUTE was fanned five wide near the seven eighths, tapered in some for the backstretch run and settled, edged up between rivals leaving the far turn, worked outward past the five sixteenths and came about five wide into the stretch, closed in and joined embattled inner rivals past the three sixteenths, took over in mid stretch then steadily drew out under a drive. FURTHER EVIDENCE , four to five wide while in range through the opening half, dropped in some and moved up to join the pace fray past the three eighths, dueled outside TRIPLE PASS into the stretch, fought on between foes leaving mid stretch and kept on gamely to earn the place. TRIPLE PASS steadied off heels into the first turn, eased out and quickly moved up between rivals around the first turn, forced the pace outside the leader into the far turn, gained a slim lead three furlongs out, battled to the inside of FURTHER EVIDENCE from the five sixteenths, stayed on to the inside of pair of rivals leaving mid stretch then gave way grudgingly. CANDY'S CHROME lagged off the pace, gathered some steam leaving the five sixteenths then circled five wide into the stretch, switched over to his correct lead inside the sixteenth pole and rallied. MANGIA PANE briefly steadied back off the leader while saving ground into the first turn, chased inside into the far turn, eased out past the five sixteenths but came up empty. MARSH CREEK was steadied off heels into the first turn, angled out then was headstrong moved up outside foes past the three quarter pole, forced the issue into the far turn then faltered. KOBE W had speed to take over between runners, tightened foes and caused a bit of a jam up when angling in nearing the first turn, set a pressured pace through the backstretch run, ceded command three furlongs out, faltered and was eased late.
