Chart notes
OUTKISSED sped to the front three wide, shook clear on the turn, widened into the stretch and lasted under mild left handed urging. ONE RED CENT chased the winner down the backstretch, dropped back a bit on the turn then came on again three wide and was steadily cutting into the winner advantage in the final stages. ROTARY DIAL never far back, found his best stride late four wide. HOUSEBUILDER chased the winner along the inside then two wide and faded late. FOLLOW THE SIGNS failed to menace. MONTEREY PENINSULA had speed into the turn then weakened. BROADWAY JONES vied for the lead inside rivals through the turn then gave way. GILLIGAN trailed.
