Chart notes
DUNCAN IDAHO stalked the pace three wide into the turn, quickened the tempo and chased the leader from the two path around the bend, in range and outside leaving the sixteenth pole, wore down inside rival under a stout drive, up late. HONEYQUIST sent soon after the start, inside and fully extended around the bend, fought on gamely along the rail, second best. PENGUIN POWER raced off the pace and off the rail into the turn, chased inside leaving the furlong marker, closed willingly through the wire. LITTLE ROO ROO chased the pace three deep into the turn, bid four wide leaving the eighth pole, evened out through the final sixteenth. HOPPING HENRY off to a slow start, chased the pace three wide leaving the quarter pole, came up empty through the lane. JEFFERSON NATIVE roused inside soon after the start, chased along the rail around the turn, shuffled back while losing ground headed to the furlong marker, weakened. BERTRAM FLIGHT hoped and hit the gate at the start, never factored.
