Chart notes
MARY Q rated close up three wide, bid to the front at the top of the stretch and drew off under confident handling. SHETALKSTOMUCH broke slowest and raced far back then finished with good energy. DOCTOR ABBIE saved ground off the pace then closed gamely outside in the stretch. OUR UPTOWN GIRL outrun early, advanced wide on the turn then flattened out late. SIMPLY STATED hustled to the front inside to the stretch and weakened. BACK FORTY settled close up inside for half a mile and came up empty. PACHELBEL moved inside on the turn then lacked a closing kick. CHARM ALARM lagged far behind throughout. COULD BE A COUGAR dueled between rivals to midway on the turn and stopped. NORMANDY LIFE chased three wide down the backstretch and retreated.
