Chart notes
WATER TESTER challenged for the early advantage, drove clear around the turn, finished in the middle of the track and was kept to the task. METALLIC MISCHIEF raced in the middle of the field, came around the turn on the outside, made a bid down the stretch, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. WHAT'S THE REPORT bumped at the start, pressed the pace, entered the stretch wide and lacked a late kick, finishing evenly. CHIEF SLEW dueled on the front end, saved ground and faded. RANDY DAYTONA bumped at the start, void of early speed, moved up on the inside, but was no factor. GREATIZLOVE raced evenly near the back and was never close. CLEARLY THE BEST was bumped at the start, always raced near the back and was outrun.
