Chart notes
SMOOTH RICO quick start and clean trip around the first turn, set a taxing solo pace into the far turn, on a clear lead headed for home, wandered a few steps leaving the sixteenth pole, caught his breath, held sway driving to the wire. MARK DID IT raced well back leaving the first turn, trailed into the second bend, quickened leaving the quarter pole, angled out and around fading rival mid -way through the far turn, closed the gap willingly through the wire. JOHN HALL clean stalking trip into the far turn, put to task near the furlong marker, chased on one paced through the final sixteenth. HOME SCHOOL off to a slow start, bid six deep leaving the sixteenth pole, evened out to the wire. MR. MOX tracked the pace four wide first turn, roused three deep leaving the quarter pole, faded through the lane. IKIGAI raced mid pack around the first turn, made a menacing middle move along the rail leaving the three eighths, came up empty late. ROAD TO STARDOM slow to stride, six then seven wide backside, no threat. OPTIMISTIC NATE raced off the pace and off the rail, never threatened.
