TIZ OF THEE pressed the pace, moved up on the outside around the turn, dueled down the home stretch and prevailed for the win. GOLDEN PALACE vied for the early lead, drove clear around the turn, dueled down the stretch with TIZ OF THEE, was outfinished for the win, but proved best of others. EMPERADOR raced in the middle of the pack, made a late bid, proved no match for the top two and was just up for third. BROADWAY PETE raced in the middle of the field, made a late bid and just missed third. BLACK CANDY raced evenly near the back, showed late interest, finished wide and was no factor. LODE OF BLARNEY lacked early speed, saved ground around the turn, made a bid and weakened. HUEY DUEY dueled on the front end in the early going and faded. SWEET RACHEL void of early speed and was never close. CAZADERO always raced near the back, finished wide and showed little. BAYOU BEAUX broke sharp, flashed early speed and dropped back.
