Chart notes
BOLTAGE raced forwardly three wide, moved to vie two wide into the turn, gained an advantage at the five sixteenths pole, inched clear in upper stretch, met an outer challenge at the furlong grounds and held firm thereafter. CIGARETTE BOAT was brushed by an outer foe leaving the gate, stalked in the three path, took aim on the new leader entering the lane, bid in midstretch but was fended off through the final furlong. ROCK N ROLL BOLT leaned inwardly and brushed an inner rival before taking light contact from an outer foe at the start, laid off of the pace inside of rivals and a path off of the rail around the turn, shifted out four wide into the lane, rallied to close in on the leading pair in the but needed more. NORWICH shifted inwardly and brushed a foe soon after the start, laid off of the pace whlie hung four wide and moved up. ALCOVE was very reluctant to load, set the pace along the inside, vied with an outer bidder around the turn, got headed at the five sixteenths pole and weakened. NO NO JOE raced off of the pace in the three path and between horses, then failed to factor. BALTIMORE HEART stalked along the inside, then from the two path around the turn, chased into upper stretch and faded.
