Chart notes
BURNHAM SQUARE settled off the pace inside, made strong progress at the rail down the backstretch, bumped with HE'S NOT JOKING near the half-mile pole, made progress two wide around the far turn, angled four wide near the five-sixteenths pole, kicked in outside, was up near the sixteenth pole and drew clear under a drive. TAPPAN STREET raced in range four wide around the first turn, bid three deep rounding the far turn, took the lead near the five-sixteenths pole, drew clear in upper stretch, continued on the left lead to midstretch and was unable to resist the winner late while holding well clear of the rest. BURNING GLORY raced off the pace three wide around the first turn, made some progress five wide around the far turn and was along for the show. FEROCIOUS stalked the pace three wide, bid two wide between foes near the three-eighths pole, vied to upper stretch and had little left for the drive. HE'S NOT JOKING raced off the pace two wide, bumped with the winner near the half-mile pole and dropped back two wide around the far turn. KINETIC CONTROL set the pace inside and retreated after six furlongs. GUNS LOADED rated up close in the four path around the first turn, took the lead midway down the backstretch, angled in nearing the far turn, led to the five-sixteenths marker, wilted and was eased in the lane.
