Chart notes
PILOT COMMANDER stalked three wide into the turn, moved out to the four path for a bit on the turn then took aim from the three path once more entering the stretch, drew alongside the leader with a furlong remaining, cleared at the sixteenth pole and drew away. KINGDOM HEART stepped to the front from inside, roused two wide leaving the bend, challenged by PILOT COMMANDER at the eighth pole while having his rider almost fumble the crop, yielded to that rival with a sixteenth remaining and stayed on to secure second. SLIDER chased two wide into the turn, was ridden along in the three path then angled to the rail at the quarter pole, took aim along the fence with a furlong remaining but lacked the needed late punch. MOOSE MITCHELL chased off the inside, two to three wide on the turn, moved out in the drive and failed to answer the call. SEE THROUGH IT raced in range widest up the backstretch, rounded the bend four to five wide and could not respond when asked. MANITOWISH trailed along the rail into the turn, two wide into the lane, moved out and could not make an impact.
