Chart notes
GREAT HEAVENS stalked the pace in the two path on the turn, moved to the three path approaching the stretch, gained the lead outside WITHOUT PETENCE near the sixteenth pole and held sway under steady handling. WITHOUT PRETENCE advanced along the inner rail to challenge for the lead mid way on the turn, went clear in upper stretch and gave way grudgingly. JOE THE JET bumped with BETTA GO GO GO at the start, sped to the early lead, set a pressured pace in the two path around the turn then gradually weakened the final three sixteenths of a mile. GUARDIAN PRINCE , bumped by BETTA GO GO GO soon after the start, chased the pace three deep, was fanned four wide entering the stretch and gave way. BETTA GO GO GO bumped JOE THE JET leaving the starting gate, bumped GUARDIAN PRINCE soon after the break, stayed wide on the turn and dropped back.
