Chart notes
MIDNIGHT COUNCIL with the second flight while two wide, force out to the four path at the top of the stretch then bumped by RED IN FRONT at the three sixteenths pole, dug in gamely under right handed urging and edged clear in the final stages under brisk handling. RED IN FRONT settled inside the winner, angled out three wide nearing the top of the stretch, bumped that one at the head of the lane, was in tight at the furlong marker, altered course to the six path and finished second best. DOCS LEGEND broke slowly, was unhurried early and found his best stride late in the six path. HE'S A WILD CHILD failed to menace. GREAT REVELATION trailed through the turn, swung wide and passed tiring rivals in the middle of the racetrack. BREEZE THE BAYOU made the lead soon after the start, set a pressured pace two wide for nearly a half mile, remained a sharp threat to the furlong marker then folded. BEER TIME pressed the pace along the inside into the turn, made the lead near the quarter pole, set the pace until mid stretch then gave way. GAISGEACH was outrun.
