Chart notes
COUNTRY HIT sprinted to the front, drove clear, saved ground, pulled away and won handily. WE CALL HIM DOC raced near the back in the beginning, made a steady gain, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. TEXOMA pressed the early pace, saved ground around the turn and lacked a late kick. NATIVE REQUITE raced within striking distance, came around the turn on the outside, finished wide and was no factor. EAGLE POINT raced within contention, faded and was no threat late. HAY LOVER BOY void of early speed and trailed throughout.
