Chart notes
TEAM CAPTAIN had a slow start, rated in the three path, was driven around the far turn, angled out to the six path at the top of the lane, and rallied past inner foes in the final furlong. CANDY STREET bumped with an outer foe at the start, set the pace in the two path, was cued off the rail passing the three-eighths mark, tipped out to the three path turning into the stretch, kicked on to hold a firm advantage passing the eighth pole, but was caught by an outer foe in the final sixteenth. RAPSCALLION raced off the pace in the four path, was ridden from the three path into the far turn, floated out to the five path at the top of the lane, but was one paced. FOXTROT HARRY tracked in the four path, moved up to press the pace in the three path after the half, was coaxed along around the far turn, but flattened in the two path down the stretch. MAGICSHADOW bumped with an inner foe at the start, stalked in the three path but faded along the inside in the final furlong. RAPTURE BAY laid in range in the two path but retreated. SEVERANCE chased in the two path but never menaced.
