Chart notes
NATIVE SHAMAN rated in the two path, angled out midway around the final turn, was coaxed passing the quarter, floated out to the six path at the top of the lane, and rallied past an inner pair in the closing stages. CAPTURE THE FLAG stalked in the three path, bid from the two path going into the final turn, took command while being roused passing the quarter, inched clear going by the eighth pole, but was caught by an outer foe in the closing stages. FUERTEVENTURA chased in the three path, was coaxed from the rail into the final turn, took aim while swinging out to the five path turning into the lane, but finished evenly. MEYER laid off the pace in the two path, was cued passing the three-eighths mark, angled out to the seven path turning into the stretch, but flattened. CALYCANTHUS tracked inside, tipped out to the three path down the backstretch, was roused from the two path into the final turn, floated out to the five path turning into the lane, but faded. JUNIPERO SERRA hit the gate leaving, trailed inside, tipped out to the three path entering the backstretch, was ridden into the final turn, but failed to menace. LEGITIMIZE set the pace in the two path, but gaveway along the inside nearing the quarter.
