Chart notes
MERCY OTIS set the pace from the gate under mild early pressure, drew clear on the turn, widened in upper stretch and was never seriously threatened. ROSE'S WISH tracked the leaders through the turn, rallied well in the stretch to be gaining late with a belated bid. GRAN ROXY tracked the pace into the turn, lost position on the bend and showed good late interest to gain the show. ORDERLY TRANSITION (GB) stalked the pace to midway on the turn gaining on the pacesetter and flattened out in the stretch finishing evenly. PRINCESS OPAL failed to menace. SPICEY VALENTINE pressed the pace to midway on the turn and tired coming home. ATHENA'S GHOST was not a threat.
