Chart notes
CRABS N BEER trailed from the gate, surged between horses two wide to make the lead after three furlongs, set the balance of the pace, widened into the stretch and lasted under right handed urging. GEAUX YOSHKA dropped inside on the first turn, track the pace from there through the far bend, swung out to the seven path entering the stretch and was steadily cutting into the winners advantage late. NEED TO KNOW BASIS set the early pace in the five path, gave up the advantage after three furlongs, chased the pace four wide into the far turn then faded. GO EMI failed to menace. HITSVILLE vied for the lead three wide and was through after a half. OAKS HONEY was no factor.
