Chart notes
STORMIN HONGKONG settled off of the decent early pace while never far back, chased two wide to the quarter pole then angled four wide into upper stretch, ran in pursuit to the furlong marker, rallied between foes into the final sixteenth, surged in deep stretch and got up at the wire to prevail. ROYAL HALO tracked the decent early pace from the inside, was well placed into the turn and saved all of the ground to the quarter pole, bid into the stretch then vied for the lead at the furlong marker, took command into the final sixteenth and led to deep stretch, was nailed on the wire for the win and held for second in a game runner-up effort. SHIP IT RED close up to the early pace, tracked three wide and between runners nearing the half-mile pole, chased to the quarter marker then swung five wide into upper stretch, closed willingly in the final sixteenth and just missed for the win and place, while getting up in time to secure the show. DUPLICATION prominent early, assumed command from inside of rivals then set a decent pace while prompted to the turn, engaged LIL MIRACLE MAN and dueled that runner to the quarter marker, battled into the stretch, clung to a narrow lead between foes into the final sixteenth, fought on to deep stretch and was outfinished in the final yards. LIL MIRACLE MAN prominent early, prompted the decent pace between runners heading to the half-mile marker, pressed two to three wide to the quarter marker, battled into the stretch then vied for the lead past the furlong marker, stayed on into the final sixteenth and yielded in deep stretch. RELAXED ARTIST (IRE) unhurried early, saved ground to the top of the stretch and offered a mild late rally. BRANNIGAN tracked the early pace widest up the backstretch, chased five wide into the turn, maintained a wide path into the stretch and did not threaten in the late stages. GO LAKER GO settled off of the early pace, advanced two wide and between rivals along the turn, could not sustain that run into the stretch and finished evenly. ELUSIVE LOVE broke out at the start and was away slowly, lacked early speed, chased three to four wide to the quarter pole and did not make a late impact. KO SAMUI (IRE) chased the pace five wide to the turn, lost position nearing the quarter marker and weakened in the stretch.
