Chart notes
SCARECROW tracked in the four path, ranged up midway around the far turn, bid from the six path turning into the lane, dueled with an inner foe into the final furlong, and inched ahead in the final strides. CLASSIC OF COURSE laid in range in the two path, was roused between foes passing the quarter, bid while floating out to the five path at the top of the stretch, took the lead in upper stretch, dug in while dueling with an outer foe to the wire, but was edged out in the final strides. CITY OF OSCARS bumped with an outer foe at the start, stalked in the three path, was coaxed along around the far turn, got briefly stymied just after the quarter, floated out to the five path turning into the lane, and was along for show. TANK bumped with an inner foe at the start, set the pace in the two path, was ridden along the inside around the far turn, but faded in the stretch. ALINAO FOREVER rated inside but was no factor. SARATOGA CRUISER had a slow start, raced off the pace in the three path and never threatened. KRIOYO was wellback in the three path and never menaced.
