Chart notes
CANDYLAND PHIL stalked the leader two wide into the far turn, under urging collard the front runner three deep turning for home, pressure mounted from the outside inside the sixteenth pole, held on under very strong handling. BULLRING BULLY off to a very slow start, trailed the field into the far turn, roused on four wide leaving the quarter pole, found that extra gear nine wide leaving the sixteenth pole, rallied with vigor through the wire. ORANGE JUICE tracked off the top flight three wide into the far turn, quickened to bid six wide into the lane, closed the gap willingly through the wire. LET'S EAT set a taxing solo pace into the far turn, collard into the lane, chased on willingly through the final sixteenth, just missed a spot on the podium. COSTNER chased inside into the far turn, roused off the rail leaving the furlong marker, flattened out inside runners to the wire. BLOOD BROTHER bobbled at the break, chased inside into the far turn, pressed between runners leaving the quarter pole, evened out between to the wire. WILLIAM'S CAUSE off the pace and inside, never threatened.
