Chart notes
PENNY'S TREASURE hopped at the start giving the field several lengths from the gate, made a steady rally along the inside through the turn, cutting the corner to engage the leaders at the head of the stretch, drew away through the lane and was well in hand late in an impressive performance. MOST ADORABLE stalked the pacesetter to the quarter pole, rallied five wide turning for home, was no match for the winner but finished well to be second best. DEE'S KY WILDCAT reserved off the leaders through the turn, angled wide to the clear and mounted a belated bid to gain the show. WINDY VALLEY set the pace on a clear lead to the quarter pole, had no answer when challenged at the top of the lane and weakened coming home. SOMETHING LUCKY prompted the early pace down the backside, had no response when called upon on the turn and steadily faded in the stretch. WELLOILEDCAT trailed throughout and was never a threat.
