Chart notes
EXALTED JOY reserved off the pace for the first five-eighths, made a steady rally circling six wide and closed well on the outside to reel in the leader inside the final fifty yards and be going away at the wire. SEE SPOT RUN tracked the leaders for the first half mile, mounted a bid on the far turn to take the lead at the quarter pole, opened a clear advantage in the stretch and was caught late in the drive in a good effort. CORONA GRANDE rated off the pace near the rear ofthe field through the final turn and showed some late interest with a mild bid to gain the show. THE RED MAN set the pace on a clear lead through the first turn, held the lead down the backside under constant pressure, dug-in when passed on the turn and kept-on through the lane willingly. BIG BUCKSALOT pressed the pace to the far turn, challenged for the lead from between rivals nearing the quarter pole and weakened in the lane. T MONEY raced in contention through the first turn, dropped to the rear of the field down the backstretch and was never a factor.
