Chart notes
TREBLE CLEF broke outwardly at the break and was four wide into the first turn while moving up to prompt the pace on the outside, then made a two wide bid leaving the turn and held on late to prove best under a drive. HOUGHTON SHUFFLE was rated along the inside, boxed by the quarter pole and moved out and bumped TEN GAUGE forcing that rival out leaving the turn, then angled out nearing the sixteenth marker and closed fast to just miss. TEN GAUGE was rated along and well placed three wide leaving the quarter pole, then was bumped and forced out leaving the turn and finished willingly late. TIME TO CRUISE set the pace on the inside and faded late. MY REDEMPTION loomed three wide nearing the turn and then came four wide and then had to check by the sixteenth marker losing all chance. MY IMAGINATION trailed at the quarter pole. BROOKLYN GUY was five wide into the lane and weakened. There was a STEWARDS INQUIRY and two JOCKEY OBJECTIONS, the number four TEN GAUGE claimed foul against the number two HOUGHTON SHUFFLE for bumping and forcing rival out leaving the turn and also the number five MY REDEMPTION against HOUGHTON SHUFFLE for interference in late stretch, after the STEWARDS reviewed the replays they allowed both OBJECTIONS and DISQUALIFIED HOUGHTON SHUFFLE from second and placed him fifth.
