Chart notes
FLEET OF FLAGS bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, recovered to lead the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, kicked clear in upper stretch and held off a closer at the wire. ONEFORTHEDITCH raced in the middle of the pack on the outside through the opening quarter, navigated the bend from the three path, began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground late to narrowly miss. SMARTIER brushed with the horse to his outside at the start, chased the leader between horses up the backstretch, continued around the bend in the two path and kept on to the finish. BERTANI bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, settled off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the four path and made up some ground in the lane. FINE MUSIC brushed with the horse to his inside at the break, trailed the field through the opening stages, swung out to the five path coming around the bend and never threatened. REAL GOOD MAGIC raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and was empty in the stretch. TIME TRAVELIN bumped with the horses to both sides leaving the gate, raced in the middle of the pack between horses early, navigated the turn from the two path and made no bid.
