Chart notes
FAST CHAZ , three wide into the first turn, went clear on the backstretch, stayed well off the inner rail setting the pace, drifted out entering the stretch, drew off under urging and drifted out late. THE RONALD , bumped by WELL IMAGINE THAT when that one was forced out at the break, lost ground on the turns, chased the winner and finished gamely. FLYING BLIND , sent leaving the starting gate, remained along the inner rail, chased the winner to the stretch and gave way. CAPIAT , four deep both turns, raced on his left lead in the stretch and gave way. WELL IMAGINE THAT , forced into THE RONALD when soundly bumped by LOBDELL LAKE leaving the starting gate, moved to the inner rail leaving the far turn and weakened. THOMPSON was outrun. LOBDELL LAKE bumped WELL IMAGINE THAT when bearing out at the break, steadied on the first turn and faltered on the far turn.
